LEI Accredited Certification Body
Assessment of management units in the LEI certification system in the form of audit activities, field inspections, public consultations, and the entire certification process is carried out by a Certification Body that has obtained accreditation from LEI. This means that the Certification Body has the right competence to certify sustainable forest management using the LEI certification system.

Receives a certification application from the management unit.
Facilitate the certification process in the field, making certification decisions, starting from applications, field assessments, and surveillance
Facilitate the handling of objections to certification decisions.
Provide relevant information and its access to the public in relation to certifications carried out by Certification Bodies.
Promote the LEI certification system.
Explain the LEI certification system to the certified management unit.
