This standard is a framework for assessing Sustainable Community-Based Forest Management (PHBML) certification and becomes a reference for management units in implementing PHBML.
Sustainable community-based forest management (PHBML) is defined as all forms of forest and forest product management carried out by the community in traditional ways, both in the form of community units, community-based business units (cooperatives in the broadest sense), as well as small to medium scale individuals, carried out sustainably.
